This program examines how General Motors, the world's largest industrial company and the symbol of corporate America's once golden age of optimism, suffered a $23.5 billion loss last year--the biggest corporate loss on record. What went wrong? This program examines how the former number-one car company failed to adapt creatively to the Japanese invasion and consumers' demand for smaller, safer, more fuel-efficient cars.
