The Bellamys learn that James is in debt, is in trouble with his regiment, and is having an affair with a chorus girl. When they learn that the chorus girl is their former underhouseparlormaid and that she is carrying James' baby . . . well, there is nothing left to do but to call inSir Geoffrey Dillon to sort it out
