- When a Kid Is Gay
- Program Description
This program profiles several Worcester-area teens, following them as they try to cope with a host of issues common to gay youth everywhere: Chris considers suicide in order to escape his father's abuse; Jason struggles to reconcile his sexuality with his religious beliefs; Amy's parents see her as a "bad influence" on her younger brothers. This program's aim is to dispel fear and misinformation about homosexuality and at fostering understanding of young gay people.
