- Program Description
In the fall of 1990, world famous animal conservationist Gerald Durrell mounted a large scale search and rescue expedition into the remote interior of northeastern Madagascar looking for endangered lemurs and other rare animals on the brink of extinction. This film follows the expedition as the team searches for, collects, and finally transports back to the US these endangered creatures.
