Boston theatre critic Elliot Norton interviews prominent actors, directors and producers on their craft. (Aired from October, 1958 to 1982. Winner of both Peabody and Tony Awards.) Series release date: 1958
- Program Description
A brand new play by Tennessee Williams, “The Red Devil Battery Sign,” is described by the playwright as a “passionate love story which happens to coincide with the assassination of John F. Kennedy.” The play is set in Dallas and also deals with the moral attitudes in today’s society. “The Red Devil Battery Sign” is directed by Edwin Sherin and co-stars Claire Bloom and Anthony Quinn. Both stars will be Mr. Norton’s guests this week.
