Program Description

This program offers a personal glimpse of the woman who changed the way Americans think about good cooking and good eating. The show features highlights and mishaps from her 30-year career as Public Television's "French Chef," as well as a rare visit with Julia Child at her home in Cambridge, Mass. Interviewed by WGBH's Christopher Lydon, Julia Child speaks her mind with candor and humor on subjects ranging from feminism and her own career to nutrition and health.
