Program Description

Keeley Hawes plays Fancy Day, the captivating new schoolteacher in a Dorset village. Her father wants her to marry well, which means the rich farmer Shiner or even the fussy Parson Maybold; meanwhile, impoverished Dick Dewy falls for her -- and vice versa. This lush and romantic adaptation of Thomas Hardy's 1872 novel stars Keeley Hawes.
