- Program Description
Thalassa continues to refurbish framed pictures by demonstrating how to clean and rehang them. She shows how to re-wire the backs, with suggestions on wire types, and re-do screws that have pulled out. A good cleaning is advised and a touch up on frames - shoe polish is good for wood or try cleaning gilt with beer avoiding moisture seeping into frame. She demonstrates a good device fro driving nails into masonry and shows gummed hooks to avoid while stressing importance of ventilation behind frames.
