Face Transplant Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) performed the first partial face transplant in New England, the second in the United States and the seventh in the world on April 9, 2009. Guests: Dr. Bohdan Pomahac, Brigham and Women's Hospital; Dr. Julian Pribaz, Brigham and Women's Hospital

Pirate Rescue U.S. Navy snipers fatally shot three pirates holding American cargo-ship captain Richard Phillips. The fourth pirate has been taken into custody.
