Program Description

Hegarty is suspicious of his nephew's reasons for leaving Ireland and tries to help him hide from Liam O'Connor, who has threatened him. While doing research in a hospital for his next play Thomas meets Meg Burns, an attractive young woman who is training to become a doctor. Running for a seat in Parliament in the autumn election, Oliver Mortimer asks Martha to help him campaign. O'Connor corners Fergus in an alley and forces him to plead for his life.
