- Program Description
The third in a series of Jean Shepherd stories about a typical American family and its not so typical adventures. In this story Ralph gets his first job and the family dog temporarily runs away to a better home, both of which threaten to cancel the annual summer vacation to a cottage on a lake but in the end the family goes on their trek to Ollie Hopnoodle’s Haven of Bliss. Directed by Dick Bartlett.
