Program Description

Roy Marsden returns as Scotland Yard detective Adam Dalgliesh in this six part thriller based on a novel by P.D. James. The story is one of death and intrigue involving the staff and residents of Toynton Grange, a private nursing home run by the enigmatic Wilfred Anstey. Dalgliesh probes the intricate, tense relationships within the cloistered community. Also at the center of his inquiries is the Black Tower, a ruin on the grounds of the Grange which appears to harbor dark and important secrets. Also starring Pauline Collins, art Malik, Maurice Denham and Rachel Kempson.
