Death: A Love Story: A Viewpoint Presentation
Program Description

The intimate journey through the last year of the life of Mel Howard, a Hollywood producer and actor, head of NYU's Graduate Film School, co-founding associate director of the American Film Institute and chairman of Boston University's Department of Film and Television. In November of 1995, Howard was diagnosed with primary liver cancer. In shock at the news, he and Michelle Le Brun, his wife of only two years, began their quest for a cure through a maze of doctors, therapies, spiritual healers and a transplant. They documented their struggle for what turned out to be the last year of his life.
