Program Description

Georgi Markov was the victim of the so-called poisoned umbrella murder. After Markov defected from Bulgaria in 1969, he settled in England with a British wife and child and worked for the BBC. The investigation of his death led to the conclusion that this was a political murder. This program details that investigation.
