Produced and directed by Academy Award winner Lynne Littman, this film explores the ins-and-outs of mother/daughter relationships. Using a combination of documentary-style portraits of four "couples", each of a different age, and dramatizations of scenes from plays or poems about mothers and daughters, this film presents the complexities and intensity of this powerful bond.
