Program Description

A note announcing that a crime will be committed in a church at St. Fiacre takes Maigret to his hometown. At the end of the first mass on All Souls Day, Countess de Saint Fiacre is found dead with her hand clutching her prayer book. Maigret is not convinced by the doctor's verdict that the countess died of a heart attack and begins an investigation. Written by Robin Chapman and directed by James Cellan Jones.
