Series of programs intended to highlight communities in the Greater Boston Area as well as to encourage local citizens to become more involved with community activities. Series release date: 1969
- Program Description
A look at the City Hall Plaza just prior to its opening. Michael strolls around the plaza as the camera and music create a poetic look at the brick, the fountains and the young trees. Ed Kelly and others are interviewed on site as they reminisce about Scollay Square compared to the current City Hall Plaza. The still new plaza and its potential are discussed by architects:
The program ends with a call-in session in the studio as audience members are encouraged to send in suggestions for how to use the plaza.
