Program Description

301: ANTIQUES ROADSHOW ushers in its third season in Richmond,Virginia, where experts from the nation's top auction houses and independent appraisers gather to appraise political memorabilia,jewelry, folk art and more. From the Museum of the Confederacy,host Chris Jussel describes the city's complex history on both sides of the Civil War. At the Richmond Centre, appraisers spot a folk art chicken from a turn-of-the-century dairy display and three Art Deco jewelry pieces worth more than a quarter of a million dollars.

302: ANTIQUES ROADSHOW continues its visit to Richmond, Virginia, where appraisers spot classic toys, a lamp or two, pottery and firearms. Host Chris Jussel takes viewers on a tour of Agecroft Hall, a manor house originally built on a country estate in England then moved to Richmond by a wealthy entrepreneur. Collectors gather at the Richmond Centre with a remarkable array of objects to be appraised, including a presentation Colt pistol.
