- Program Description
Volume II charts the earliest years of the Boston Garden with luminaries like Bruins Hall of Famer Milt Schmidt and 1955 welterweight champ Tony DeMarco. A segment dedicated to the historically diverse neighborhoods of the South End focuses on the area's nightclub scene, most notably Coconut Grove. Also included are recollections from members of Massachusetts' unique social and political organizations such as the Union Club and the Sons of Italy.
