- Program Description
Dr. John Knowles, Director of Massachusetts General Hospital, reports on the state of civilian public health in Vietnam. Knowles and a team of doctors were sent to Vietnam by the United States State Department and by President Lyndon Johnson to assess the health conditions of the civilian population of Vietnam. The program features Knowles discussing his findings, accompanied by still photographs of the health conditions the team encountered. 1967.
