Facebook & City Hall Today’s Boston Herald found several City Hall employees goofing off on Facebook at work by playing online games and chatting about TV. The Herald’s front page is a helpful reminder that nothing is off the record.

Brockton Power Plant A proposed power plant in Brockton is dividing the town’s residents over the benefits of jobs and revenue versus the facility’s environmental price tag. The plant could bring about 750 jobs to the city, but opponents say it will create 1.4 million tons of waste per year.
Guests: Eugene Benson, Attorney, Alternative for Community and Environment; Peter Valberg, Brockton Clean Energy Plant
No Impact Man Colin Beavan’s documentary “No Impact Man” tells the story of his year spent trying not to leave a carbon footprint and is showing at the Coolidge Corner Theatre. Beavan and his family switched to vegetarianism, began shopping at the local farmer's market, only eating things they already had in their apartment or that were grown within 250 miles.
