- Program Description
Thalassa gets advice from Peter Downey, WGBH’s Manager of Operations, on the black art of television tuning. They discuss reception in terms of geography and antennae, indoor and outdoor, and adjustments necessary for good pictures. Peter demonstrates fine tuning of the set for clarity, contrast and color tone. They also touch on the inadequacy of TV sound systems to receive the excellent audio broadcasts available.
