Program Description

URI student newspaper printed a political cartoon alluding satirically to minority student being mistaken for janitor. Black students voiced their fury. Newspaper's funding was frozen allegedly for past debt. Editors interpret it as censorship. Silverglate comments on the implications of the first amendment and the abridgement of free speech on campus.
