Part 2 of 2. A history of the Iraq War, recounting the quick defeat of Saddam Hussein's forces and the chaos and looting that followed; the disbanding of the Iraqi military and banishment of Baathists from the government; the Abu Ghraib scandal; and the battle over the Iraq strategy that emerged between Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld; the 2007 surge of U.S. troops.
