Broadcast: Nov. 5- 12, 1989 This is the turbulent true story of one of this century's greatest medical miracles, the discovery of insulin. R.H. Thomson stars as Dr. Frederick Banting, John Woodvine as J.J. MacLeod, Robert Wisden as Charles Best, and Michael Zelniker as James Collip.
