Program Description

Life-long smokers who say their health has been ruined by cigarettes are suing tobacco companies under a branch of law called product liability. The theory is that when a company makes a product which hurts people, that company must pay damages. Since many consider smoking a voluntary choice -- not like faulty brakes or dangerous drugs -- should smokers have the right to sue?
