- Program Description
A dazzling display of speed, precision, endurance, brute strength, and physical perfection, "Animal Olympians," a "Nova" special, features exceptional performers from both the natural and human worlds. Although it's almost impossible for humans to approach the levels of performance found in the natural world, some humans, through a combination of natural talent and training, are able to push performance far beyond the abilities of ordinary mortals. This program features these runners, swimmers, archers, wrestlers, climbers and other champion athletes along with their animal counterparts.
