- Program Description
This story tells the story of a scramble for the Chuzzlewit inheritance by a group of scheming, hypocritical characters, including the architect Seth Pecksniff and the outrageous trickster Montague Tigg. Adapted for television by David Lodge, the program mixes broad comedy, moving drama and a suspenseful murder mystery, moving from the height of brilliant farce to the grimmest reaches of criminal psychology.
