While Rose is riding on a tram, taking a cake to a friend of Mrs. Bridges, an Australian sheep farmer falls into her lap and onto her cake, ruining it. To make amends he takes her to a tea shop to buy a replacement and invites her to take time for a cup of tea with him. Before long, of course, he must be subjected to the scrutiny of the servants at Number 165.
