- Program Description
From May 1982 “The Dial” WGBH Program Guide:
“Most everyone agrees that hazardous waste processing facilities are necessary to insure the controlled disposal of toxic industrial wastes, but no one wants to live near one of these plants. Tonight from the ARCO Forum of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, advocates and witnesses debate questions of safety and the fairness of the new state law regulating the siting of such outlets, which prohibits communities from denying such facilities permits without careful review”.
