Elderly Drivers On Sunday, an 86-year-old Malden woman struck and severely injured an elderly pedestrian in Melrose. This is the fifth accident involving elderly drivers in the past four weeks. The Joint Committee on Transportation has a hearing this morning to discuss how to handle the problem.
