Program Description

Elizabeth Jane Howard's family epic in the tradition of Upstairs, Downstairs and The Forsyte Saga opens on the eve of World War II, as the Cazalet clan assembles at the family estate in Sussex, England. The drama centers on three brothers and a sister (Hugh, Edward, Rupert, Rachel), their spouses (Villy, Sybil, Zoe), and their children, from infants to adolescents coming of age in an ominously changing world. Hugh Bonneville (Take a Girl Like You, Madame Bovary) , Tony Award-winner Stephen Dillane (The Real Thing), and Ursula Howells (A Rather English Marriage) star.
