Program Description

Wrongly Convicted Restitution Nine men have sued the state for some $4.5 million under the state's new wrongfully convicted compensation law. Provision, signed into law in December by Gov. Romney, would give wrongfully convicted up $500K. But the nine have been critical of AG Tom Reilly for 'delaying' their claims, Reilly says it takes time to process. Despite promise of state compensation, most wrongfully convicted say it will take years to rebuild their lives.
