Program Description

Drawn from journalists Eric Sevareid's best-selling memoir, this film chronicles his experiences as a radio correspondent in Europe during Hitler's rise in the 1930's. The catastrophic events of the period transformed the journalist from a Midwestern isolationist to an American interventionist.
