Program Description

May 1940. Britain is newly at war and Detective Chief Inspector Christopher Foyle is assigned to fight crime in the south coast — the prime landing area for the anticipated German invasion. His first case: a locally prominent German woman has been murdered — whether by patriotic thugs or her avaricious English family is hard to tell.

Reissued as a Mystery series.
