- Program Number
- Series Description
Hosted by Eric Sevareid. ENTERPRISE's pioneering use of the "case study" approach to business documents high level decisions as they are taking place in the executive boardrooms. ENTERPRISE deliberately shows decision making processes as they occur. Business is treated as a human endeavor rather than an economic phenomenon. It goes beyond the statistics and charts to show real people making critical decisions and then bearing the consequences. ENTERPRISE benefits from the expertise of the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration (as Harvard professors act as advisors to each program.) Ex Prod: Zvi Dor-Ner / Each individual episode has different producer Series release date: 10/1981
- Program Description
Hosted by Eric Sevareid. Government deregulation has fostered a new generation of airlines challenging the industry giants. One of the newcomers, New York Air, is taking on Eastern Airlines' highly profitable shuttle service. ENTERPRISE follows the battle between the competitors and stays on "stand by" to see how New York Air is taking off. This program address internal problems within New York Air but, more specifically, what can happen when a free-wheeling challenger takes on a well-established champion.
