Program Description

Broadcast Thursdays January 20- February 10, 1981 Dr. Edmund Bickleigh silently suffers the contempt openly displayed by his overbearing wife, Julia. But when he begins to receive admiring attention from the young, seductive Madeline Cranmere, he slowly and methodically plots Julia's murder. The gossips of Wyvern Cross suspect foul play so Dr. Bickleigh decides to host a tea-party that he intends will prove fatal to some of his guests. Finally arrested and brought to trial, Dr. Bickleigh remains convinced that even Scotland Yard cannot prove its case against him.
