Health Care Reform The Senate Finance Committee passed Sen. Max Baucus’ health care bill by a 14-9 vote yesterday. Maine Republican Sen. Olympia Snowe was the only Republican to cross party lines, saying Baucus’ bill is “a good place to start.”

Newton's Mayoral Race State Rep. Ruth Balser and former John Kerry aide Setti Warren are in the final stretch of the Newton mayoral race. The race promises to make Newton history by electing either the first African-American or first woman mayor.

DeCordova Museum The DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park spans 35 acres of rolling woodlands and lawns, making it the largest park of its kind in New England. The Museum has recently switched its focus from the museum to the sculpture park, which contains about 75 artworks at any given time.
