This series is black produced and is one of public television's longest-running series that is rooted in and reflects the culture, concerns, achievements and history of people of African descent. Also includes controversial issues, African American artists, and events of special interest to the African American community.

Columnist Michelle Singletary has covered business and personal finance for more than 15 years. She hosts Singletary Says on TV One, a cable/satellite television network for African Americans featuring lifestyle and entertainment programs. Singletary's Washington Post column, "The Color of Money," is syndicated in more than 130 newspapers across the US.
In the introduction to her 2006 book, Your Money and Your Man: How You and Prince Charming Can Spend Well and Live Rich, Singletary writes, "Money may not be able to buy you love, but conflicts about it can certainly bankrupt your relationship." In this conversation with guest host Howard Manly, Singletary discusses how to achieve a healthy balance between life, love, and the bank account.
