The day after Martin Luther King, Jr. was killed, a teacher (Jane Elliot) in a small town in Iowa attempted a daring lesson: treating children with blue eyes as superior to children with brown eyes. What did those children learn about discrimination and how does it still effect them today. NOTE: The original program, dealing with just the third grade class experiment was called "Eye of the Storm." More recently, a program "Blue Eyed" (See video field, below) was released involving the same experiment by Dr. Elliot.
