Aaron Copland, assisted by musicologist Nicolas Slonimsky, introduces Russian composers, Dimitri Shostakovich, Dimitri Kabalevsky, Tikhon Khrennikov, Konstantin Dankevich, Fikret Amirov, Boris Yarustovsky, to America. Produced in cooperation with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, directed by Paul Noble, produced by Jordan Whitelaw, 1959.
