MBTA Fair Hikes Members of the T Riders Union, MassPIRG, and the On the Move Coalition held a bake sale on the steps of the state house to protest a possible MBTA fare increase and draw attention to the mounting deficit. Advocates are pushing for lawmakers to adopt Gov. Deval Patrick’s 19-cent gas tax increase.
