The Boston-based Victory Garden (w/ Roger Swain) is located at a private residence; Victory Garden South is at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia; Victory Garden West is at Roger's Garden Center in Corona del Mar, California. - Program Description
Roger Swain and Roger Cook look at fall lawn care, from fertilizing the newly planted lawn to maintenance of the rest of the lawn (slice seeding and aerating). Roger Swain also looks at the fall crops ripening in the garden, sowing cover crops of winer rye and setting lettuce into the cold frame. Peter Seabrook visits the Royal Horticulture Society, Wisley to view the orchards of over 700 apple varieties.
