Affairs of the State will probe an important issue with those at the center of decision making. We'll be taking our radio microphones to The Harvard Law School Forum, Brown University, Dartmouth College, The Harvard School of Public Health and the World Affairs Council for 13 weeks of debate and dialogue.

Program Description

Andries J. van Heerden, a Harvard Nieman Fellow who was the first Afrikaans language reporter to visit the African National Congress headquarters in Zambia and to interview its President, Oliver Tambo. Currently, he is Assistant to the Editor and Political Editor of Die Vaderland, the Johannesburg Afrikaans daily. Taped March 31, 1987 at the World Affairs Council rotunda.
