Program Description

This concert extravaganza is hosted by internationally renowned Broadway actor and singer Theodore Bikel, best known as Tevye in "Fiddler on the Roof." The program also features New York cantor David Levine, Yiddishist Harriet Chasia Segal and more than 150 musicians from Boston's New England Conservatory. Crafted by Hankus Netsky, founder and director of the world-famous Klezmer Conservatory Band, and filmed before an audience in Boston's Jordan Hall at the New England Conservatory, A TASTE OF PASSOVER includes sacred, traditional, uplifting music, favorite Passover songs and seder songs. The program also features witty commentary by humorist Moshe Waldoks.
